Dear 2010 Census Partners,
As you are aware, the U.S. Census Bureau has about 635,000 census workers going door-to-door right now to follow-up with about 48 million households who have not yet participated in the 2010 Census. How can a resident recognize a census worker coming to their door? What can they expect when one visits? How can they protect themselves from being scammed? Outreach Results
Also, we wanted to alert you to some of the other outreach efforts we’ve been doing on this topic, along with their results.
Bites and B-roll Feed on April 29 – Focused on the door-to-door phase with b-roll of census takers and sound bites from Dr. Groves on how to recognize a census taker. In just the first five days of it airing, it reached 62.5 million people across 151 different markets.
Radio Media Tour – The Census Bureau Director and Deputy Director each participated in a radio media tour earlier this month about the door-to-door phase.
