• FISHING DERBY** at Mud Hole. We’ve stocked the pond. Bring your pole &
bait and catch what you can in two hours. Blue Ribbon prizes for most
fish caught and for biggest catch (until 12noon) Breakfast sandwiches,

• BIKE RACES TO THE GAZEBO** along Mountain Ave. until 1pm (see back
cover for age-appropriate starting positions).

• FOOD! Free hamburgers & hotdogs to all with blue and white wristbands.
• BAND #1: The Mendham Community Band at the Basketball Courts until 3pm
playing early 1900’s music.
• ANTIQUE CAR SHOW along Park, Mountain & Orchard Aves. Vote for your
favorite Classic Car (through 6pm).
• FACE PAINTING. at the Playground until 4pm. High school students
decorate little faces in festive colors and designs.
• SACK RACES** at the Lower Ballfield until 2pm. Old fashioned sack
races. Sign up at Event.
• TENNIS** at the Upper Courts until 4pm. Singles, Doubles, Mixed. Sign
up at Event.
• HOME RUN DERBY** at Upper Ballfield until 3pm. Only for ages 12 and
under. Wooden Bats only!!!

• DUNK TANK. In front of the Carriage House until 9pm. Dunk your
favorite teacher, coach or politician!
• TUG OF WAR**. At the Gazebo
Ballfield until 3pm. Get your street or neighborhood to
challenge another! Sign up at Event.

• BAND #2: Mendham’s own Dan Vaughn Combo at the Gazebo until
5pm. Vaughn’s band Grover has been a local fave for years. See
his new line up to find out why we love Dan’s music.
• VOLLEYBALL at courts until 5pm. Sign up at the Event and get
ready to spike!
• EXHIBITION BASEBALL GAME at Lower Ballfield until 5pm.
4:00pm
• HAY RIDES! We have two separate trails running the north side
of the borough through 8pm. Rides start at the Park’s gravel
lot. Ride as often as you like!!
• PIE BAKING CONTEST** hosted by the Women’s Club; judge the
best tasting pies around. Of course we’ll have to eat them so
there will be a PIE EATING CONTEST at 5pm. No hands, only messy
faces!
5:00pm
• BAND #3: The Moonlighters are at the Basketball Courts until
7pm. 17-piece swing and jazz! Not to be missed…

• TUG OF WAR**. Part Two will be held over at the Lower Ballfield until
7pm. Sign up at Event.
• HORSESHOES** Hosted by the Fire Dept.; we’ll see who the real ringers

• BOCCE casual old-fashioned lawn bowling until 8pm for all ages. Bring
your own set. We’ll have a few available too
• FAMILY BBQ! Ribs, roast beef, chicken dinner with three sides, through
9pm. For those with Red wristbands only!
• BEER GARDEN. Relax with a cold one through 9pm if you’re 21 or over.
Gold wristbands only. Wristbands available only at beer garden. No beer
outside garden!

• BAND #4: Another local favorite, Kramer will be playing popular hits
from the 50s, 60s & 70s until 9pm at the Gazebo.
• WIFFLE BALL All can play until 8:30pm. Jump in on a team and play.
Eleven outfielders? Who cares! It’s all for fun at the Lower Ballfield.
If you have a wristband of any color, you can play!

• THE GRAND FINALE!!! FIREWORKS AT THE UPPER BALLFIELD. SET UP YOUR
BLANKETS AND CHAIRS ON THE BIG FIELD IN FRONT OF THE GAZEBO AND ENJOY
THE SHOW!!!
