Message From the Mayor

Release Date: April 07, 2020

Dear Mendham Borough residents,

I must inform you that as of 8:00pm today, Tuesday, April 7th, the Governor issued a new Executive Order, #118,

closing all state and county parks until further notice.

This includes our Patriots Path.

I understand how difficult this is especially now that we have warmer weather to enjoy the outdoors.

In the next couple of weeks we are expecting a significant rise in the number of cases of the corona virus. It is imperative that we continue our resolve to practice social distancing to try to curb the rise of cases for our residents.

What remains open of our great outdoors? You are still encouraged to get outside and your own yard is the safest place to do so. As you know our Mendham Borough parks are closed but our sidewalks are available for walking but this means they will be more crowded than ever. We must all do our best to be patient and kind to each other as our open space shrinks and we weather this health crisis together.

Thank you for your understanding.

Christine Serrano Glassner, Mayor

And your entire Mendham Borough Team
