Summer is a difficult time for blood donations. Students are away from school and families are on vacation. The need for blood never takes a vacation! Every 2.5 seconds someone needs blood, no matter the season. It could be a friend, a family member or maybe even you.  Please sign up and donate blood! Also, please post and distribute the attached flyer.

The Bernards Township Health Department in conjunction with Community Blood Services is sponsoring a Blood Drive.

In order to donate blood, participants must weigh 110 pounds or more and provide identification. Participants should eat a meal and drink plenty of water prior to their donation. Donors over age 75 years must bring a doctor’s note stating they may give blood.

Bernards Township Health Department is the contractual health agency for Bernards Township, Benardsville Borough, Chester Borough, Long Hill Township, Mendham Borough, and Peapack and Gladstone Borough.
