Just a quick note to let you know that we have completed the initial 30-day opt-out period for the Morris Area Energy Cooperative.  This means that any resident who didn't call, mail or email us about opting out of the program will be enrolled in the program with their first meter read after March 1, 2019.  That's not to say that residents can't still opt-out; as you know, residents can opt in and out of the program at any time during the term of the program without any penalties or fees and those requests will be processed within 1-2 meter read cycles.

The next step in the enrollment process will be a confirmation letter from JCP&L to any resident enrolling in the program (any eligible resident who did not opt out as of 1/31/19), notifying them of their actual start date at the lower electricity supply rate offered through the program.  Any questions feel free to call  866-688-5197.
