All Borough Parks Closed

Release Date: March 18, 2020

Effective immediately, out of an abundance of caution and consistent with the Governor’s Declaration of Emergency and recommendation of the Morris County JIF, Mendham Borough Parks are closed until further notice. This includes: Borough Park, Franklin Park, Westfield Park, Pastime Field.  The Borough is very sorry for this inconvenience, we encourage you to find places to continue to enjoy the outdoors.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy’s Emergency Declaration of March 16, 2020 placed a limit of 50 people for all social functions and “gatherings” due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The purpose of the Governor’s action is to limit one to one contact in an effort to reduce the spread of the virus. This Declaration follows the guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
