Message from the Mayor-9/11 Memorial Ceremony

Release Date: September 09, 2024

Dear Mendham Borough Residents and Business Owners,

The Mendham Fire Department and First Aid Squad will coordinate a 9/11 memorial ceremony to honor those that perished 23 years ago on that fateful day.

This is a solemn event that begins in the morning with the members of the Fire and First Aid Squad lining up along Main Street in front of the entry to their facilities and a ringing of the town alarm at 8:46am, the time of the first terrorist event. Their celebration continues with a recognition of each event at 9:03, 9:37, and 10:03.

The public is welcome to come and respectfully observe. We thank you for your patience as they conduct their annual ceremony.

Best regards,

Christine Serrano Glassner

Mayor
