-Submit a completed Construction Permit Application: UCC FORMS PRINTED FROM THE INTERNET OR COPIES OF UCC FORMS MUST BE SUBMITTED SIGNED AND SEALED AS REQUIRED. UCC FORMS MUST LEGIBLE AND NOT HAVE OFFICE ONLY SECTIONS BLACKED OUT
[ ] Construction Permit Application Folder
[ ] Building Subcode Technical Section
[ ] Electric Subcode Technical Section
[ ] Fire Subcode Technical Section
[ ] Zoning Application -Submit payment of $30.00 payable to “Borough of Mendham”
Submit 2 copies of property survey (Ground Mounted Only) showing location of Solar Panels
Or 1 Copy of Layout plan (Roof Mounted Only)
-Submit 2 copies each of manufactures specs and 3 copies of the signed/sealed plans For Solar Photovoltaic Systems: Indicate KW of System, AMP size of Subpanel and any additional components as installed.
-All prior approvals are required to be received prior to permit application being processed. Prior approvals include:
Historical Preservation Commission – HPC (if located in the historical zone)
Home Owners Association HOA (If your project is subject to a HOA approval)
After your application is approved by all Subcode Officials, you will receive an email with the amount due. Payment can be made by check, or money order payable to Borough of Mendham.
Rough Electric Inspection is REQUIRED for ALL Solar Projects prior to installation of panels. Inverters, Disconnects, Wiring, Piping, Grounding, Rapid Shut Down, etc. need to be visible.
