UPDATE TO SKATING ON MOUNTAIN VALLEY POND

CURRENT STATUS:

CLOSED

Mountain Valley Park Pond (Mud Hole) is now CLOSED for skating. It will reopen for skating when weather and ice conditions permit. Signs will continue to be posted to let residents know if the ice is of sufficient depth for skating.

Please check the website for up-to-date status to see if the pond is open or closed.

AS A REMINDER: ALWAYS USE CAUTION WHEN SKATING

- No Town Supervision is provided

- Do not skate on pond when “NO SKATING” signs have been posted.

- Use caution when skating, ice conditions may change throughout the day

- Never skate alone

- Do not gather in large groups on ice

- Beware of ice covered with snow

- Stay away from cracks, seams, pressure ridges, slushy areas

-No Ice Fishing
