Weather Update

Release Date: July 29, 2021

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch which will remain in effect until 9:00pm. We are currently experiencing a few isolated storms that will continue through this evening. The storm has the potential to put down a quick inch of rain in less than an hour, which is a concern for areas that are prone to drains being overcome by rainfall rates. Wind gusts of 40-50mph and large hail is possible. The primary timeframe of concern for severe flooding is around dinner time this evening, with conditions quieting down early overnight. We will continue to monitor this event throughout the evening, and provide additional updates if necessary.
