The weather forecast says that winter could be visiting us sooner than normal. Just a reminder to get your outdoor winterizing done.

Here are a few items to consider:

• Remove and drain hoses
• Turn off outside water spigots from the inside source and leave the external open
• Clean out gutters
• Bring in your plants
• Secure your umbrellas, patio or deck furniture and grill
• To prevent pipes from freezing set your thermostat accordingly and keep storm and garage doors closed
