The Mendham Garden Club

The Mendham Garden Club was founded in 1932.  It is an eclectic group of resident volunteers that maintain the  Phoenix House Historic Garden and the "Welcome to Mendham" Entrance Garden at the intersection of  Cold Hill Rd. and Main St.   The club is a "working" gardening club and is busy from spring through fall  planting flowers, weeding beds and pruning shrubs in the gardens under its care.  It also decorates the  Oak Tree Triangle in the Fall with mums and pumpkins.

The Club always welcomes new members,  and invites  the seasoned gardener as well as the beginner, to join!  We have a "come when you can" attitude, knowing that everyone has other commitments and summer vacations, so don't let your busy schedule deter you from joining.  The club always needs help watering the pots on the Phoenix House porch.  Get the kids involved and volunteer to water the flowers for one week this summer.  All levels of volunteer commitment are welcome!

Take a moment as you walk, cycle or drive around town, to enjoy the beautiful flora the club maintains and consider joining!

Please contact Laurie Trank at Laurietrank@gmail.com if interested in joining and volunteering.
