INDIA BROOK RESTORATION IN PROGRESS
INDIA BROOK RESTORATION IN PROGRESS
The third spraying at India Brook Park will be this upcoming Tuesday, August 26th. They will be targeting a few small areas around the park and path.
Hacklebarney Trout Unlimited and the Borough of Mendham are partnering to remove the overgrown invasive plants along India Brook and restore the brook with native trees and shrubs. These plants are well suited to the area, and will enhance the local ecosystems, and offer essential food and habitat for the native wildlife. FoHVOS has received a NJDEP permit in order to complete the spraying. Click below for a copy of the Permit.
Any questions regarding the spraying of the area can be sent to mvanclef@fohvos.org
Any questions regarding the project or wanting to volunteer to help please email planning@mendhamnj.org
