American Water has subcontracted with CDM Smith to inspect the water service line entering residences. This is to confirm that your service line is NOT a lead or galvanized service line. You may call 732-590-4700 to schedule an appointment for a technician to come to your residence and inspect the line. The company is also knocking on doors to request entry to inspect the line. If you are not comfortable with a cold call you do not have to allow them in and can call to schedule an appointment.
