Raritan Headwaters Cleanup Volunteer Opportunity – Saturday, April 17^th

Want to make a difference in the health and appearance of your watershed … in just three short hours?  

Volunteer for Raritan Headwaters Association’s 31^st annual Stream Cleanup on Saturday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 12:00pm at the Mountain Valley Park in Mendham.

The Stream Cleanup keeps with the spirit of Earth Day, not only does it beautify local stream corridors, but it also protects drinking water supplies and prevents litter from washing downstream to the Raritan Bay and Atlantic Ocean, where it can become a hazard to marine life.

To sign up, go to https://www.raritanheadwaters.org/stream-cleanup/ then click on Register Today! to reserve a place at your preferred site.  Mountain Valley Park in Mendham is listed as Site 30.  There will be 2 volunteer groups at Mountain Valley Park, each consisting of no more than 25 volunteers per COVID-19 Guidelines.

Registration is open till all spots are filled.  Registration is required!  A list of what to bring and what is provided is available on the registration page.  This event will follow COVID-19 Safety Protocol.
