Dear Mendham Borough Residents,

I know we are all bracing for a storm later today that is predicted to bring a lot of rain and extreme winds.  Our DPW crew has been very busy cleaning up from this week’s snow storm, and are now preparing for tonight. They have cleared the catch basins in the roads of snow and debris, in order to keep excessive water flowing and limit flooding. Although they will continue to keep their eye on problematic areas,  keeping these catch basins clear will go a long way to preventing flooding. If you have a catch basin near your home and are physically able to assist with keeping it clear, we welcome your help. Do not take any unnecessary risks and go out in the storm. Also, be on the lookout for black ice, this rain will make for very slippery conditions.
