Dear Residents,

We would like to inform you of upcoming improvements to Patriots' Path that will enhance the safety, accessibility, and overall experience for all who use this valued community resource.

This work is being made possible through funding provided by a Local Recreation Improvement Grant that the Borough received from the State. The project reflects our continued commitment to maintaining and improving our shared outdoor spaces for residents of all ages.

Phase I of the Construction activities are expected to begin on or about May 1st, 2026. The work will take approximately 2 weeks to complete. The construction activities will take place between the hours of 8 am and 4:30 pm Mon - Fri. Construction activities may include trail resurfacing, drainage improvements, and general maintenance along certain sections of the Path, starting at the Mountain Ave entrance to approximately 2000 LF down the trail. During this time, you may notice temporary closures or detours in affected areas. We will make every effort to minimize disruptions and ensure that work is completed as efficiently as possible.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while these important improvements are underway. Upon completion, Patriots' Path will offer a safer and more enjoyable environment for walking, running, biking, and other recreational activities.

If you have any questions or would like additional information, please feel free to contact the Department of Public Works at 973-543-6535.
