2021 Curbside Recycling - UPDATE

Release Date: January 29, 2021

Effective February 1, 2021 the single stream recycling dumpsters will be removed from Public Works.  The Borough has entered into a 5 year contract with Blue Diamond for weekly curbside single stream recycling pick up.  The first weekly pick up will be Thursday, February 4, 2021.

With the move to weekly pick up it became cost prohibitive to keep the dumpsters at Public Works.

Continue to use the container you have been using for recycling.  Please make sure your container is labeled recycling.  If you need recycling stickers for your container, please contact Public Works at 973-543-6535.

Even though single stream recycling will no longer be accepted at Public Works the following items will continue to be accepted:

  • Grass/Leaves and Books Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm and Saturday 8:00am – 3:00pm.
  • Electronics (e-waste) will be accepted Saturday 8:00am – 3:00pm.

If you have any questions, please contact Public Works at 973-543-6535 or email dpw@mendhamnj.org
