Main Street Paving

Release Date: August 01, 2022

Dear Mendham Borough Residents,

The long awaited repaving of our Main Street is finally on track to happen starting tomorrow, Tuesday, August 2.  I want to personally thank everyone for your patience as we have waited for our County and NJ American Water to provide us with a smooth ride down Main Street.

The repaving process is expected to be finished by the end of the week, however the work is dependent on clear skies and the schedule will ultimately be determined by the weather. A new Main Street will not come without inconvenience. In order to complete the work within the week there will be road closures, detours and backed up traffic, and work that will need to be done at night. Our Police Department have already sent out the first message and will continue to keep us all apprised throughout this process.

We ask for your continued patience this week as the crews come in to do their work. Let’s all do our best to plan for alternate routes and hope for clear weather so the work is done this week. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to our office at information@mendhamnj.org.

Sincerely yours,

Christine Serrano Glassner

Mayor, Mendham Borough
