MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR- Dugout Painting Project

Release Date: June 11, 2026

Dear Residents and Business Owners,

If you have driven by Boro Park in the last few days, you may have noticed a fresh new look at Doubleday Field. I want to extend a huge thank you to the volunteers from the Mountain View Middle School baseball team, who generously donated their time to clean and paint the dugouts over the weekend! I would also like to give a special shout-out to the members of the DPW crew for prepping the dugouts, and Councilmember Neil Sullivan, who oversaw the planning and coordination of this project. The dugouts received a much-needed makeover and are now proudly sporting red, white, and blue in honor of our upcoming 250th anniversary.

- Mayor James "Jim" Kelly
