Dear Mendham Borough Residents and Business Owners,

A nor'easter is expected to impact our area beginning on Friday night and continuing through Monday morning. The heaviest rain and strongest winds are currently forecast from Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon, with the latest forecast calling for 1.5 to 3 inches of rain and wind gusts up to 35-40 mph over the course of the storm.

Utility companies throughout New Jersey are preparing for this storm, and added resources are available and will be deployed as needed. Local, county, and state emergency management officials are actively monitoring conditions, and emergency operations centers will be activated as needed.

Residents are encouraged to report any power outages directly to their utility company and to avoid downed trees, power lines, and utility poles, which can be extremely dangerous.

The Borough will continue to monitor the conditions and provide additional updates if necessary.
