Tree that knocked out power Sunday Night

This tree came down Sunday night around 7pm. In conjunction with the power company we did our best to limit the time residents were without power.

Recently we were called to a Borough house on a report of a tree that had split during a wind storm. After checking weather maps we saw heavy thunder and wind storms were approaching. A house was in the fall zone. We immediately braced and shackled the tree in order to make it safe for climbing. You will see in the following pictures the Department of Public Works removing a dangerous tree before a predicted 40mph wind storm.
