Storm Follow Up

Release Date: February 02, 2021

I hope you will all join me in thanking all of our crews including our DPW, Water Reclamation, Police, Fire Department, First Aid, and OEM team. You may have seen that we received more than 30” of snow with this storm, and with the winds we have areas of high drifts. Our entire team worked all day and night keeping our town safe, streets clear, and sewer operational. An extra special thank you to our Superintendent, Jeff Cooper and his team for the 30 plus hours they put in on our roads.

We all need to keep in mind that this is a tremendous amount of heavy snow, leaving us little room to move it. Be extra cautious when you are cleaning up your own snow on walkways and sidewalks, take your time and don’t over do it – remember there is more snow forecast for the end of the week. Finally, if you have a neighbor that looks like their snowed in, help us by checking in with them.

Sincerely

Mayor Christine Serrano Glassner
