A special thank you to Carl Mauer for completing his recent Eagle Scout Project! Carl built flag drop boxes for both the Phoenix House and the Mendham Borough Police Station for residents to properly retire American flags. Residents who wish to respectfully retire their worn or unserviceable flags can now use the new drop boxes, which will be checked biweekly by the American Legion.

Carl will begin his 4-year enlistment in the U.S. Army on August 24th. We wish him the best of luck and thank him for the drop boxes as well as his service to our country!
