Message from the Mayor: Hike for Hope Walk on Sunday, September 20

Dear Residents and Business Owners,
The Borough of Mendham is proud to support the Hike for Hope Walk, hosted by the Mendhams Stigma-Free Task Force in recognition of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.
The event will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Schiff Nature Preserve, with participants meeting at the Nature Center parking lot. Participants will enjoy a guided walk led by local nature photographer and Borough Council member Chris Neff while coming together to raise awareness and support mental health in our community.
I encourage residents of all ages to join the walk in support of this important cause. Thank you to the Mendhams Stigma-Free Task Force, volunteers, and all those participating in making this meaningful event possible. This walk offers an opportunity to connect with neighbors, enjoy the beauty of nature, and demonstrate our shared commitment to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health.
Participants can RSVP by following the link on the Mendhams Stigma-Free Task Force Facebook page.
Mayor James “Jim” Kelly
