Annual Harvest Hustle 5K

Release Date: September 17, 2013

Watch for Mendham Borough’s Annual Harvest Hustle 5K and 1 Mile Kids’ Fun Run October 5th

The Borough’s annual Harvest Hustle 5K and 1-mile Kids’ Fun Run will be held October 5, 2013 starting at 8 a.m.  All Borough residents are welcome to participate, whether it’s running, walking or simply cheering on our students, teachers, parents and community partners in this important fundraiser.  Registration is open at www.mendhamboro.org

This event is the primary fundraiser for Mendham Borough’s Hilltop and Mountain View Schools.  It also supports the Sergeant Richard V. Morales Scholarship Fund.  Last year more than $18,000 was raised.  Together with sponsors such as Maplecrest Ford, Inventiv Health, American Financial Resources and Hollister Construction Services, the Mendham Borough Police and the Department of Public Works support this anticipated community event.

Please expect road closures on October 5th, between approximately 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., on the following streets:
  • Bockhoven
  • Florie Farm
  • Garabrandt
  • Gunther
  • Maple
  • Mountain
  • Park
  • Phoenix
  • Wilson
Cars will not be permitted on the course at any time during the event, no exceptions.  We hope that by providing advanced notice, the impact on those who live along the race route is minimized.

We thank you for your ongoing support and look forward to seeing you on October 5th
